The architect behind the Sales Hardball process that in 2002 turned around a three-year trend in declining sales for XSYS Print Solutions – Western Hemisphere, Narrow Web division earned the Nobel Award for Excellence at the company’s international meeting in Denmark in 2003. Since then he has successfully implemented the Sales Hardball process throughout XSYS’ European and Asian divisions.
Hank has earned numerous awards in quality, profitability, and management during his career, which includes banking (Citibank), sales and distribution (Foremost-McKesson), and operations (Central Products, a division of Alco Standard Corporation). He cites his operations background as the foundation of value-added selling and the Sales Hardball process and firmly believes that discipline, accountability, and the process approach required for successful manufacturing are transferable to sales.
