What grade does your sales force get?

I’m sending you this quick note as I’m writing a series of articles on how local businesses are responding to the economy. My articles focus on what I see as a common Management Myth: “Little can be done in a weak economy to improve sales results”.

I have been talking to senior managers about current economic conditions and I find that their responses fall into two main categories. The first is that they are “hunkering down and waiting out the storm.” The other is, “it’s time to improve, evolve, and gain market share.” I’d like to hear from you about what actions you are taking.

I’m including a link to the FREE Web tool Sales Force Grader. It will highlight “areas of opportunities” with your sales team and it can tell you where you may need to focus in order to maximize returns in this market. You’ll be able to work through this tool in about 7 minutes and your resulting score will calculate instantly. Click here to start Sales Force Grader.

Feel free to call or e-mail me. Thanks in advance for your input.

And, if you didn’t get to read my article last month, here’s a direct link to Drilling Deep for Sales Results.
